Deleting Your Data

Last updated 1 September 2026

You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you at any time, and you do not need to give a reason. This page explains how to ask and what happens next.

How to request deletion

  1. Email info@surbathiang.com with the subject line Data deletion request, or send us a WhatsApp message asking for your data to be deleted.
  2. Tell us the name, phone number, or email address you dealt with us under, so we can find your records. If you contacted us through WhatsApp, messaging us from that same number is the quickest way for us to identify you.
  3. We will confirm we have received the request, and complete it within 30 days. If we need anything else to verify it is really you, we will ask.
There is no charge for this, and asking will not affect any work currently in progress — though if we delete your contact details while a project is live, we will no longer be able to reach you about it.

What gets deleted

What we may have to keep

Some records cannot be deleted on request, because Indian tax and accounting law requires us to retain them:

If any of this applies to you, we will tell you exactly which records we are keeping and why.

Other things you can ask for

Deletion is not always what people actually want. You can also ask us to:

Any of these can go to the same address.
